Our story began 28 years ago. A young couple from Guadalajara, Jalisco, stepped into a foreign world with hearts full of dreams and a vision of a better life. Along the way, they also carried the responsibility of welcoming a new baby girl.
Alex Valdez began his journey at a top FEI farm in Pittsburgh, PA, where he worked as a manager and ensured exceptional, above-and-beyond care for their horses. With over 20 years of experience, Alex has handled horses of all levels—from elite FEI show jumpers to providing attentive, top-quality care for retired horses.

Throughout his career, Alex traveled with some of the top barns across the United States, developing a diverse and well-rounded skill set in horse care and transportation. As his reputation grew within the horse community, he built strong relationships that eventually led him to start his own horse transport business, Sterling VC Transport LLC, alongside his wife, Adriana Carrillo.
Over the years, Alex and Adriana also welcomed two boys, who further inspired Alex to pursue his dream of owning a property—one that they are now proud to call Rancho VC Equine LLC. Thanks to the relationships Alex built along his journey, he was supported in turning that dream into a reality.
Together, Alex and Adriana have traveled across the United States providing safe, reliable, and top-quality horse transportation. They are committed to timely deliveries and are always ready to assist in urgent or emergency situations, ensuring every horse receives the care and attention it deserves.
